Yes! Our platform is organized so that we can always accept your snow shovelling request, and usually have a turnaround time within 24 hours (and often much quicker).

Our MowSnowPros pick their own schedules so once your job is live it will be made available to hundreds of service providers in your area. You can request right from the app for service now, or book recurring snow removal service for an upcoming vacation or the season.

Yes, we offer monthly snow removal services in Edmonton.

However, we’re different from a traditional landscaping company as we’re contract-free and charge a per-time rate. This way, you’re only charged for the work that’s actually done, rather than paying a monthly fee even if it doesn’t snow.

Our data over the last 9 years shows that on average, paying per-time for snow removal is less expensive than paying a monthly rate, due to the flexibility it provides and variability of snowfall over the season.

Yes, we offer all of our yard services on a one-time basis. Snow removal can also be booked for a set period of your choosing (for vacation coverage or other).

There is no need to be home, as long as there is access to your property. Ensure gates are unlocked (if back areas are requested) and you’ve included all relevant job details in your request.

You will receive a push notification through the app, or email/SMS notification (if activated), once your job has been accepted by a MowSnowPro. Your app will tell you the window your MowSnowPro has to arrive onsite, and you will receive before/after photos of the work and any add-ons, in real-time. Payment is processed through the app after you rate the job, or 12 hours after the job is done if unrated.

We provide snow shovelling services in all communities across Edmonton, as well as the surrounding cities of Beaumont, Fort Saskatchewan, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, St. Albert and Leduc.

To book service on-demand, use the “Snow Shovelling” job type. When you submit a service request in the MowSnowPros mobile app or web app, the job becomes available to our network of MowSnowPro service providers. When the request is accepted, you will receive updates and job photos throughout the process and have the option to rate the service when complete.

Everything is completed online through our mobile app or web app. There is no need to talk to anyone on the phone or in person!

To book recurring service, use the “Snow Shovelling” job type and select “Recurring” under the Service Delivery option. When you submit a recurring service request in the MowSnowPros mobile app or web app, you will specify the start and end date.

The only selection for cadence (service frequency) is one day, because for recurring snow shovelling service we will automatically dispatch the job up to once per day, anytime it snows more than 1cm. We wait until it’s done snowing to come except in the case of a multiple day snowfall with heavy accumulation in which case we come up to once per day.

You will receive updates each time something happens related to your job. Before and after photos can be viewed in the MowSnowPros mobile app or web app. You are only charged each time service is completed.

If you’ve submitted a job request and it has not yet been picked up by a MowSnowPro, there is no fee to cancel. After the job is picked up by the MowSnowPro, we charge a $12.50 cancellation fee to compensate them for their time/gas going to your property. This fee is also charged if they arrive at your property and find that the job has already been completed.

As we’re contract-free and on-demand, there is no long term commitment or monthly contracts, and therefore you’re able to cancel a recurring service at any time, without penalty.

Yes! We pride ourselves on being the most flexible and customizable solution for your snow shovelling needs.

You can select the exact property areas you need service for. Based on these inputs our algorithm will provide you with a suggested bid price. You’re also able to include photos and comments to further clarify or customize your request.

You can also select optional add-ons which include: ice salting, car brush off and/or shovelling a neighbours sidewalk.

If there’s something additional related to your snow removal service that falls outside the app selections, you can always increase your bid price to compensate for this.

Over 99% of Snow Shovelling jobs submitted through the MowSnowPros app are accepted and completed, with the vast majority within 24 hours or less of submitting the request. If your request is not being accepted, it may be that:

• Demand is very high and/or roads are very bad, such as during/after a heavy regional snowfall.

• The bid price is too low, relative to the amount of work required. In addition to heavy snowfalls, this can occur if service is requested hours after the snow has stopped falling and is likely to be packed down by footsteps or tire tracks.

• The request is too complex or deviates from a normal service. For example, if the request is better handled by the Packed Snow/Ice Clearing job type.

By default, your MowSnowPro may leave gravel/pickle/salt on noticeable ice hazards. If you would like ice salt specifically applied across your entire service area, please select the add-on for this when requesting service. The cost is an additional 30% of your bid price.

If you do not want any product applied, you can select “NO SALT/SAND” on your request.

We can help! This is one of the top use cases for our customers. Whether you have a vacant property that hasn’t been serviced regularly, plows have pushed snow infront of your driveway or the snow buildup just got out of control, we’re able to clear it.

Please note that the “Snow Shovelling” job type does not take into account packed snow from past snowfalls, ice buildup or windrow clearing. Your request may be marked as “Closed” and not completed if booked under this job type, instead of “Packed Snow/Ice Clearing”.

We use the three S’s to provide you with customized pricing: size, service and scope. Pricing starts at $20.00 per snow removal. We encourage you to go through our mobile or web app to easily customize your job request and see exact pricing based on your specific requirements.

Bid pricing gives you more flexibility and control over your snow removal service. Since every property is unique, our algorithm will tell you the recommended price after entering your property attributes and service selections.

Use the recommended bid price for service within 24 hours, and often much quicker (within 5-6 hours). Bid more for faster service or if the work is heavier than usual. Bid less if you don’t mind waiting for service or if the work is lighter than usual.

Payment is processed automatically after work is completed using a valid credit card on file. We use a third-party payment processor (one of the largest in the world) to hold your details and ensure a secure payment process.

Tips are a great way to show gratitude for a job well done. Once your snow removal is completed in the app, you’ll have the opportunity to rate the job, provide comment, and add a tip. Of course, we remit 100% of the tip to the MowSnowPro.

The MowSnowPros mobile and web app let you specify exactly what needs to be shovelled, so pay close attention to ensure what you enter reflects the areas you want cleared. Being honest about the scope of work helps ensure the service provider is fairly compensated for the work performed.

If you have a specific request regarding how the job should be performed, use the comments box to enter that information. You can also upload your own photos or drawings.

When you bid the suggested price, our MowSnowPros almost always arrive within 24 hours of your request being submitted, and often much quicker (within 5-6 hours). For recurring service, we guarantee the job will be completed within 24 hours of dispatch.

Response times for snow removal can be quicker if you bid higher, or may take longer if you bid lower.

Once your job is accepted, a MowSnowPro has a 2 hour window to arrive at your property and start the job.

At MowSnowPros, we always want you to be satisfied with the job completed. There are a few features in app to let us know something isn’t quite right with your finished snow removal service. This includes ratings, reviews, and disputing a job. Each of these alert our team and we will reach out to you via the email connected to your account. As we understand that snow removal is an urgent service, our MowSnowPros work 24/7. Service requests may be selected for completion at any time after the job is submitted by you, in accordance with local municipal snow removal and noise bylaws.

If you would not like your service completed during certain hours (such as overnight), please do not submit your request until the hours you would like, as there is always a chance it is done right away.

Our MowSnowPros bring their own equipment and will use whatever it takes to get the job done properly. As they have access to your job details beforehand, they will only pickup your job if they have the correct equipment to get it completed.

For snow removal, this can include: a plastic shovel, a backpack blower, a push snowblower, an ice scraper, gravel/pickle mix, salt.

With a “Snow Shovelling” service, your MowSnowPro will clear the fresh snow and any lightly packed snow that comes loose with a blower or plastic shovel (such as most tire tracks). If your snow has been cleared every snowfall without allowing for buildup, the tire tracks should be cleared without issue.

However, as it can cause damage to certain driveway finishes, we ask that our MowSnowPros do not use a metal scraper on your driveway to remove hard packed snow. Depending on how long it’s been left, it can also take a significant amount of additional time/effort to remove and falls outside the scope of service.

If this is the case on your property and you would like tire tracks cleared to the pavement on your driveway, you can order the “Packed Snow / Ice Removal (Hourly)” job type instead.

With on-demand snow removal, if you have submitted your request without a delay sending to queue, it will be available for immediate pickup by a MowSnowPro (even if it’s still snowing). We recommend not submitting your request until you actually want service, or to use the “Send to Queue” option to delay when the request is dispatched.

With recurring service, we only dispatch your request if there is over 1cm of accumulation. We wait until it’s done snowing to come except in the case of a multiple day snowfall with heavy accumulation in which case we come up to once per day (even if it’s still snowing).
